Linux is the new star of the embedded market. Being a stable, tested and real time capable operating system makes it a great platform on which to build embedded devices.

At the same time, Linux is very different from legacy RTOS which it replaces. Making the best Linux and the Open Source tools set and making a smooth transition as possible requires significant knowledge and expertize.
